My guy lied about Covid

1.1 Million Deaths due to Covid

8 billion total people, 4% in the U.S. 333 million

658 million cases, 15% in the U.S. 101 million

6.6 million dead world wide, 16% in the U.S. 1.1 million

Before Donald Trump was elected I had a conversation with someone who thought electing a “wild card” like Trump will “shake things up” and push the country to real change. I had various objections to that idea but one was “what if something truly awful happens” and we require a quality leader to help the country through a difficult time. Sadly the United States and the rest of the world have been through difficult times with Covid. During this historic time period the United States did not have a leader that put the country first and it shows.

Out of the 8 billion people on this planet the US population counts as 4% of it. For the total worldwide 6.6 million deaths due to Covid the United States is 16% of them at 1.1 million.

national security threat
you face in your presidency"

On 02/07/2020, during a recorded interview with Bob Woodward, Donald Trump told him of a conversation he had with Chinese President Xi on February 6th, 2020.

- Airborne
- Much more deadly
- Kills 5% not 1% like the Flu

On 02/10/2020 he was at a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire he said:

"By April
When it Gets Warmer
It Will All Go Away
Like A Miracle.

Continuing conversations with Bob Woodward Donald Trump made more statements:

  • The virus affects young and old people

  • I Always Wanted to Play it Down and I Still Play it Down” because he “doesn’t want to create a panic”

April 3, 2020

On 04/03/2020 Donald Trump held a briefing with the Coronavirus Task Force. The CDC came out with a recommendation for everyone to start wearing masks. From the start Donald Trump showed he did not support it:

- CDC recommends masks
- He emphasized "Voluntary"
- "So you don't have to do it"
- "I don't think I am going to be doing it"

Why? Why did masks become this political issue?

Imagine how different things would have been if he simply said

“I am going to wear a mask”

We will never know. It appears sacrificing 1.1 million American lives is a small price to pay for better poll numbers and avoiding the inconvenience of wearing a mask.
